Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Room Leader in Hendon, London.

Our client's nursery in Hendon is a beautiful setting, converted from an old pub the nursery has been fully refurbished and transformed into a bright, spacious and fully equipped environment for children to learn and develop to the best of their ability. The setting has 3 floors and can accommodate up to 80 children with space available for staff to park.

This is a Permanent Full-Time position based on 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 08.00 – 18.00.
Closed 1 week at Christmas, 1 week in May and All Bank Holidays.

Offering a competitive salary of:
£21000 to £22500 – depending on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities of the Room Leader in Hendon, London:

  • Monitoring and being responsible for key children’s learning and development.
  • Plan age appropriate activities in according to EYFS.
  • Maintain positive working partnerships with staff, parents and carers.
  • Promoting best practice within the nursery.
  • Displaying a real passion for childcare.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.The duties and responsibilities are not exhaustive or restrictive and can be reviewed at any time, changes and other duties deemed relevant to this post may be added.
What are we looking for in the Room Leader in Hendon, London?
  • Minimum Level 3 in Childcare.
  • Solid understanding of Health and Safety procedures and policies within a nursery.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A passion for delivering the best Childcare Provision.
  • EYFS, Safeguarding, FGM, FBV and First Aid knowledge is important.
  • DBS and First Aid certification required.
