- We have fantastic opportunities for Level 2 & 3 Nursery Practitioners in South Croydon.
This is a permanent full-time position based on 40 hours per week, open Monday to Friday 07.30 - 18.30.
Offering a competitive salary of:
£18,000 to £21,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
Our client's nursery in South Croydon is a lovely setting once a large house it has been converted in to a 100 place nursery offering childcare spaces for children from 3 months to 5 years. The nursery is very passionate about having their children get the best out of each day they spend at the setting and also have the opportunity where possible to take them on days out to explore the big wide world.
Responsibilities of the Level 2 & 3 Nursery Practitioner in South Croydon.- Observations, planning and maintaining learning journeys in accordance to the EYFS.
- Attend meetings and training courses as required.
- Activities, sensory play, looking after key children.
- Promoting best practice in the nursery.
- Displaying a real passion for childcare and the setting.
- Communicate effectively and comply with nurseries policies and procedures and be willing to learn, develop and implement change where necessary.
- Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare.
- Solid understanding of Health and Safety procedures and policies within a nursery.
- Strong communication skills.
- A passion for delivering the best childcare provision.
- EYFS and Ofsted knowledge essential.
