- We have a fantastic opportunity for a Preschool Room Leader in Kentish Town, London.
The setting in Kentish Town can accommodate up to 60 children it has a lovely, cosy homely feel to it and all the facilities are modern safe and well presented. Setting is open from 8am to 6pm 40 hours a week and is a permanent full-time role.
Offering a competitive salary
£20,000 to £22,000 - depending on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities of the Preschool Room Leader in Kentish Town, London:- Responsible for the daily running of the room, the staff and the children.
- Monitoring your own and the staffs learning journeys, observations and activities according to the EYFS.
- Promoting best practice in the nursery.
- Displaying a real passion for childcare.
- Effectively lead and manage a team.
- Communicate well with management, colleagues, parents and children.
- Lead by example.
What are we looking for in the Preschool Room Leader in Kentish Town, London?- Previous management experience or minimum 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Minimum Level 3 in Childcare.
- Solid understanding of procedures and policies within a nursery.
- Strong communication skills.
- A passion for delivering the best childcare provision.
- EYFS, Ofsted, Safeguarding, FGM, FBV and First Aid knowledge is important.
- DBS and First Aid certification required.
