- Description
- Nursery Cook required to cater for young children in a medium sized early years setting cooking for approximately 40 children a day.
MUST HAVE FORMAL CATERING EXPERIENCE WITHIN A NURSERY, SCHOOL OR CARE HOME
What the employer can offer for the Nursery Cook role in Chorlton:- 32.5 hours a week (candidates can work 9 - 4pm or 10 - 5 pm)
- £11.50 - £12 per hour

- Level 2 or above Food & Hygiene or equivalent.
- Experience of catering in either a Nursery, School, or Care Home
- A love of children
- Responsible and reliable attitude – children need to eat each day!
- A caring and kind personality – warm towards the children
- Strong adherence to allergens and allergen awareness
- Strict attitude to food safety, food hygiene and cleanliness
- Preparing and catering lunch for approx 40 children daily.
- Responsible for stock levels, budget control and ordering of stock.
- Ensuring cleanliness of kitchen at all time.
- Cleaning duties of certain other areas to include a foyer/corridor and toilets.
- Following guidelines with regards to catering for children.
