- We are recruiting a Senior Auditor on behalf of our client who are a reputable accountancy organisation based in the Bury area.
The role is a permanent full-time position (40hrs) working Monday to Friday.
Candidates must have experience of working within an accountancy firm and not industry led experience.

- Conduct audits within your portfolio of clients to assess the effectiveness of financial and operational controls
- Analyse financial statements and accounting records to identify discrepancies or irregularities
- Evaluate financial management systems and processes to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards
- Develop audit plans and procedures based on identified risks and objectives
- Perform detailed testing and analysis of financial data, transactions, and records
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement audit recommendations and improve internal controls
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in auditing
- Overseeing the provision of audit services for a broad sized range of clients in different sectors.
- Previous audit experience required (could be within a mixed audit and accountancy role.)
- Organising work schedules and ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Relationship management
- Supporting the Directors with relevant projects..
- You will be ACCA / ACA Qualified or QBE (Qualified By Experience) and proficient in the use of Sage, Cloud based Accountancy packages as well as Microsoft Excel.
