- Registered Manager required for a brand new four bedded home for children and young people aged 11- 18 years with emotional and behavioural needs based in Salford.
The home is part of an established group that support children and young people in various environments
What they can offer for the Registered Manager role in Salford- The salary is £55k to £60k per annum
- Development and training
- Contributory pension
- Management level experience within a children's home with proven experience leading inspections to good or outstanding outcomes
- Level 3 qualification in residential childcare or equivalent (level 3 CYPW, Level 3 Health and social care - working with children and young people)
- Level 5 in Health & social care leadership and management
- 4 years’ experience working in residential childcare
- 2 years’ experience working at management level (Deputy Manager or registered management) in residential childcare
- Enthusiasm and genuine passion for developing and nurturing children and young people
- Providing a safe, nurturing and environment for four young people aged 11 - 18 years with social and emotional needs, enabling them to fulfill their potential.
- Leading a team of staff to ensure safeguarding is integral throughout practise
- Liaising with local authorities and Ofsted.
- There will be on call responsibilities
