- HLTA and School Club Manager required for a quality driven school in the Sale area of Manchester.

- Hours 12 - 615pm Monday to Friday - Shift pattern:
planning and prep time and 3pm to 6.15pm – Club Manager
School Holidays - Every day 12.15pm to 6.15pm as Club Manager for holiday
club, including 5.5hrs a week planning/ prep time (please note the club closes
for the Christmas holidays, this is taken out of the annual leave allocation)
HLTA role - For the school hours it will mainly involve general TA support for classes and planning for/ delivering interventions. It may also involve some class cover.
Club Manager role – The service provides for pupils aged 3 to 11 years from the school on site. The club has it’s own well-resourced building and they also use the Nursery building for Nursery to Year One children on busier days. The Manager is supported by two Deputy Managers and the club’s Admin Assistant who deals with all bookings and registers for the club. The club has use of our large and attractive site which includes an allotment, forest school area, playgrounds and an extensive school field.
The successful applicant will:-- Hold a relevant qualification to at least NVQ level 3 or suitable equivalent qualifications that would support all elements of the role
- Have experience of leading others/ managing a team
- Have a sound understanding of the current legislation relating to the Safeguarding of children and the responsibilities that go with this
- Be hard working, professional and reliable and keep good time keeping
- Be an effective communicator and be able to work effectively with all stakeholders including school leaders and parents and carers
- Have a successful history, (minimum 2 years’ experience), of working as a TA/ Cover Supervisor with children and young people in the primary age range and planning activities for them, both indoors and outdoors
- Have experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of inclusive practice.
- Be competent in the use of ICT – including experience of working with Word and Excel
