- Deputy Nursery Manager required for a large setting in the Chester area.
The setting is part of an award-winning chain of nurseries with expansion plans, they are at the forefront of the childcare industry and have a great reputation for supporting and developing staff.
We are looking for an individual with a passion and enthusiasm for delivering high quality care and learning experiences with an emphasis on staff development.

What you need for the Deputy Nursery Manager role in Chester:
· Must have experience working at Senior or Deputy level within an early years nursery setting
· Must be at least Level 3 qualified
· Have a detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted
· An excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families
· Experience of managing/supervising staff WITH extensive knowledge of Safeguarding
· Experience of working in partnership with parents and outside agencies
What is involved:
· Supporting the Manager with administrative running of the setting (part based in a room and part supernumerary based).
· Ensure that all children attending the setting are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
· Leading a room of Practitioners to deliver quality care.
· Ensuring that all legislation in relation to Ofsted registration, special needs, safeguarding and Health and Safety is complied with and that company policies and procedures are adhered to.
· Deploying staff appropriately
· Co-ordination of tasks and responsibilities and the ability to delegate where necessary
