- We have a fantastic opportunity for a Deputy Manager in Filton, Bristol.
Our client's nursery in Filton is a fantastic place to work, offering access to a large garden filled with quirky tree houses to let children’s imaginations run free. This is a Permanent Full-Time position based on 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Offering a competitive salary of:
£22,000 to £24,000 per year - depending on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities of the Deputy Manager in Filton, Bristol:- Reporting and working alongside the nursery manager.
- Being responsible for the setting when the manager is absent.
- Support and lead practitioners and room leaders.
- Covering in rooms where required.
- Promoting best practice within the nursery.
- Displaying a real passion for childcare.
- Minimum Level 3 in Childcare
- Minimum 1 year’s management experience and 3 years Childcare experience.
- Solid understanding of Health and Safety procedures and policies within a nursery.
- Strong communication skills
- A passion for delivering the best Childcare Provision
- EYFS, Safeguarding, Ofsted knowledge Is essential.
- DBS and First Aid certification required
